Registration Now Open for 2019 MLIS Summit
REGISTRATION is now open for the 2019 MLIS Annual Summit to be held Thursday, May 2, 5-8 PM, Rauenhorst Ballroom, 3rd floor, Coeur de Catherine Building. The Summit will feature two main activities: a Reception in honor of retiring faculty member, Heidi Hammond (5-6 PM) and a Guest Speaker Presentation (starting at 6:15 PM) by Cyndee Sturgis Landrum, CEO-Director of Evansville (IN) Vanderburgh Public Library. Topic of the presentation is “Keeping it 100: Social Justice Leadership Praxis in the Public Library.” Refreshments will be served at the Reception.
Research on Diversity in Youth Literature (RDYL) Vol. 1, Issue 2, Part 1 and Part 2
Check out the current issue of Research on Diversity in Youth Literature, a peer reviewed, online, open access journal hosted by St. Catherine University MLIS Program and University Library. Part 1 articles were published in February; Part 2 articles were published March 22.. The journal is co-edited by Sarah Park Dahlen (St. Catherine University) and Gabrielle Atwood Halko (West Chester University).
