Minnesota Humanities Center in St. Paul is looking for a Director of Development.
The Director of Development is responsible for all fundraising activities, including individual, corporate, foundation and government giving, fundraising events, prospect research and database maintenance. The Director creates and implements an annual fund-raising and development plan that meets or exceeds budgetary goals and advances the work in both the short and long-term. The Director will work with the President and CEO, the Board of Directors and an external fundraising firm to spearhead the Many Voices, One State campaign and is charged with implementing and monitoring campaign plans and the timely cultivation and solicitation of prospects. Responsibilities include increasing the number and size of gifts through prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies. The Director also works closely with the Board of Directors and is the direct liaison to the Development Committee. The Director is a member of the Leadership Team.
