The Midwest Chapter of the Visual Resources Association is looking to expand its ranks with graduate students interested in image archives, digitization, digital collections management, digital humanities, and art history! We are delighted to announce that the Midwest Chapter will sponsor membership fees for up to four current Master’s or PhD degree program students in library science, museum studies, art history, or related fields. The award includes membership to the VRA national organization and Midwest Chapter, an $80 value. The Student Membership Scholarship Award is also intended to provide support for students’ professional development, and recipients of the membership award will be paired with a mentor in the Midwest Chapter for the duration of their year-long membership in collaboration with the VRA Membership Committee.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, September 14, 5pm CST. Membership Scholarship recipients will be notified via email the week commencing October 1. The list of all recipients will be announced on the VRA listserv.
